Eyeing Asia : Employment Law In Indonesia

This is a ½ day virtual learning programme. Upon successful registration and payment, registrants will be sent a web link and access details of the workshop.

Overview

The new Job Creation Law highlights the amendments of 79 prevailing laws, including the Labor Law, Environmental Management Law and Spatial Planning Law.
It makes major changes to environmental regulation and workers’ entitlements, removing key protections such as mandatory paid leave for childbirth, increased limits on work overtime, and cutting severance pay amounts.

This workshop provides an introduction on the regulatory and compliance aspects of employment issues in Indonesia. It will discuss matters pertaining to hiring and terminating employees and offer helpful advice on how to handle employment issues in Indonesia under the current Job Creation Laws in order to create a harmonious employer-employee relationship.
