Overview
There’s a saying that we should no longer date social media but get married! What it means is that we should take every aspect of Social Media seriously, from the social media strategy to the visuals we create for our social media accounts, especially Instagram.

 Many businesses do not have the luxury of having an in-house design team to create social media graphics they require for their social media profiles, such as Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn.

 The more you invest in your visual communications in your sales and marketing collaterals, the easier it is to build trust, and to grow your social media engagements and followers!

In this 3.5 hour hands-on workshop, Social Media Marketing Specialist, Charmaine Lee will walk you through the key functions and features of Instagram on how you can put in place a practical Instagram Marketing content strategy, and avoid some common mistakes made by businesses to differentiate yourselves in a crowded market to help your customers choose you over your competitors.

The 3 sessions are:

Pre-requisite for the course:

  1. Have a personal Instagram account and use Instagram at least twice a week to post (pho-to/video) and/or engage with other accounts post.
  2.  You should have a business account you’re managing either as an individual, employee or business owner.

After the workshop, participants should be able to:

  1. Understand why Instagram is an essential social media profile to have for retail and service sectors, and how the Instagram platform is relevant for both B2B and B2C marketing via real life case studies.
  2. Discover business considerations, benefits, features and functions of Instagram compared to Facebook, YouTube.
  3. Gain hands-on experience to optimize their social media profile’s bio description for search-ability and other tools for optimisation of bio link.
  4. Use Content Ideation Tools to generate social media content ideas applicable for their business, to grow their awareness with the help of social media
  5. Map out your 2 to 4 week Instagram Content Marketing Calendar and SMART social media goals
  6. Gain hands-on experience with hashtag research and strategy
  7. Understand about inbound marketing strategies that will attract customers to you
  8. Learn about integrated social media marketing strategy
