As a core pillar of strategic decision-making in the business world, data now plays an important role in providing insights into how companies can improve customer experiences and drive better business results.

While data modelling and engineering fall within the scope of data scientists and/or data analysts, business leaders and managers also have a critical role to play in facilitating data-driven decision making processes. They need to frame the problems and analyse the results to derive actionable insights and provide recommendations for the next steps that the business can take. Besides knowledge and understanding of data science, managers will need to synthesise these with the business aspect in order to address modern challenges brought about by digital transformation and the evolving business landscape.

This course addresses the common questions and uncertainties that business decision makers have when presented with analytics output. It equips learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to discern good analytics work from a poor one, so that they can help their organisations drive data-driven efforts more effectively.
