Singapore Business Federation (SBF), in collaboration with Enterprise Singapore and Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore, are pleased to present the Singapore-Bangladesh Business Seminar 2019. This is organised in-conjunction with the visit of Bangladeshi government and business delegation.
They will be joined by representatives from Singapore leading companies, and will discuss on developments and opportunities in Bangladesh, Doing Business in Bangladesh, followed by a business networking session with the Leading Bangladeshi Businessmen.
Bangladesh in recent years have experience strong GDP growth of 6-7%. The Bangladesh government has stepped up their efforts in attracting foreign businesses and investments by establishing the 100 Special Economic Zones(SEZs) in Bangladesh. Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) was also recently established in 2016 as the one-stop shop for foreign businesses and investors to approach when venturing into Bangladesh. With the recent developments, there are emerging sectors of opportunities in Bangladesh such as Infrastructure, Urban Solutions, Building and Construction, InfoComm and Communication Technology (ICT), Transport and Logistics, Education, Hospitality and Tourism, Professional and Outsourcing services.
