High-Level Business Mission To Russia: Vladivostok



The Singapore Business Federation is organizing a Business Mission to the Russian Far East city of Vladivostok from 3 to 6 September 2019 (travel dates inclusive). Vladivostok which was established in 1860 as a naval base, is now the administrative centre of the huge and sparsely populated Primorsky Krai region in the Russian Far East.  It is considered as one of the most beautiful cities of its size in Russia and lies near Russia’s border with Korea and China. It is only 130 km away from the railway bridge that connects Russia with North Korea.

This mission aims to gain a first-hand understanding of the market dynamics and emerging sectors and establish useful business and official contacts through SBF’s network of business chambers and associations, economic development agencies as well as professional service multipliers.

Mission Program Highlights

·         SBF and Enterprise Singapore is organising this business mission to Vladivostok for Singapore firms to explore business opportunities in the Russian Far East region of Primorsky Krai. 

·         Connect with potential partners / clients for market access in Russia through B2B networking sessions and company visits to explore potential collaboration and gain market / business insights

·         The mission will focus on the key industry sectors: (a) Food processing – seafoods; (b) trading & distribution; (c) consumer goods & retail

·         “Meet the Business Mission” session with Singapore ministers and senior economic officials during this business mission in Vladivostok by attending the Inter Governmental Commission meeting
