You will learn about disabilities, the strengths of people in need or what it takes to create kindness culture in the workplace and others.

Speaker's Profile
The founder of social enterprise Singapore Fashion Runway, Eileen Yap is a mentor to many people/ families from all walks of life who have special needs/ disadvantaged groups as well as local talents. Her Fashion for a Social Cause runway shows/ pop-up events have been well visited/ supported by our Singapore President, DPM, Ministers, MPs and Mediacorp artists. Some are seen wearing her collections and designs in National Day Parade, others are seen strutting the runway with the beneficiaries in Singapore Fashion Runway shows.

In 2014, Eileen received the Spirit of Enterprise Singapore award from Singapore Senior Minister of State, Mr Lee Yi Shyan as she was the also first incubatee of Social Innovation Fund offered by Singapore government, as appeared in Straits Times. In 2015, Eileen Yap represented Singapore at the ASEAN Entrepreneurship Summit – fashion category, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to deliver a speech and also showcased a runway show. In 2016, Eileen Yap was featured twice in the SG50 Commemorative Book among 33 others as one of the changemakers impacting Singapore.  She was also highlighted as the top 50 creatives in Singapore on History Channel.
