*RISE* Virtual: Continuous Improvement In Leadership Skills

Overview
There are many sound commercial reasons for small to medium sized enterprises to expand beyond their home market. We need to know the relationship between internationalisation, globalisation and localisation.  This programme is designed to explore the differences, understanding the cross-cultural relationships and discover the continuous improvement needed to resolve issues and conflicts in internalisation. Through the use of case studies and video samples, the facilitator will encourage high degrees of interactivity and class discussion to learn how to use critical thinking, listening skills, motivation, delegation and handling conflicts. This interactive online workshop taking place during three consecutive 2.5 hours sessions is meant to provide information and knowledge about Developing leadership skills for Internationalisation.

The 3 sessions are:

  • Challenges in Developing Leadership Skills for Internationalisation (26 Mar 2021)
  • Developing Additional Arsenal in Leadership Skills (5 Apr 2021)
  • Continuous Improvement in Leadership Skills for Internationalisation (16 Apr 2021)

 The above 3 sessions are standalone topics and emphasis on Learning to Lead. Hence, participants can choose which session are relevant to them. This virtual learning workshop will only cover Continuous Improvement in Leadership Skills for Internationalisation. For participant that want to learn all 3 sessions, they can choose Developing Leadership Skills for Internationalisation and the course fee will be S$428 (Incl. GST) for SBF Member.

 SBF also covers the other Leadership Series, which is Lead Others, and the course title is Leadership Skills in Times of Crisis.

Learning Objectives
This workshop is facilitated for specifically for workers who are about to move from the individual contributor status to a position of managing others for the first time, or who have made this transition within recently.  It is designed to cater the workers seeking further re-employment, new employment and want to further employability through better understanding on their roles and how they can contribute more to companies.

Learning Outcomes
After the workshop, participants should be able to:

  1. Initiate taking up responsibilities
  2. Develop ways to prevent problems from happening
  3.  Handle difficult people and resolve conflicts
