Overseas Market Workshop - Cambodia (27 November - 1 December)

An in-market executive programme specially designed to equip Singapore-based companies with a practical understanding of how to operate and do business in Cambodia, specifically in the Construction Industry. The programme aims to showcase latest business trends, explore investment policies and opportunities, and build networks with potential business intermediaries and partners.

This Cambodia trip is eligible for Skillsfuture Study Award worth $5,000 to defray course fee, airfare and hotel. 

*Skillsfuture Study Award -Eligibility Criteria:

1. Singapore citizen
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience
3. First time applicant  

*Final approval is at the discretion of IE SIngapore on a case by case basis, who is the administrator of this programme and the skillsfuture study award

    - by the Cambodian Investment Board (CIB) of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) followed by Q&A session.


  • Introduction to Cambodia Construction

    - by Cambodia Construction Association (CCA)


  • Cambodia Outlook and Financing Tools for

    SMEs conducted by bank of Cambodia- either site visit to Acleda Bank or Philip Securities Bank


  • Presentation on the Practical Legal Aspects of Doing Business and Taxation in Cambodia – by VDB Loi

Site visit to a current Commercial building under construction development in National Road 6.

Visit and business meetings with one of the largest Cambodia Real Estate Developer

Lunch at Local Cambodian Restaurant

After lunch, commence registration to participate in the Cambodia Constructor Expo & Summit 2017 located in the Diamond Island where delegates can visit the booths setup by Singapore companies as well as local and international exhibitors.

Presentations by Singapore Club Cambodian (SCC) and Closing speech by Singapore Ambassador. Awarding of Certificate to Delegates. SCC Monthly event. Light Refreshment will be served.
